   Here on this page you will find the vocabulary for the unit in different formats to help you in your acquisition and memorization of the vocabulary.  In order to communicate effectively it is increasingly important that you are able to recall the words you want to use with great efficacy.  The only short cut to this ability is to take time everyday to review (say the words, use them in phrases, play with them) on a daily basis.  Also, tie the action of the activities with the image of doing them.

Vocabulary Study Sets from Quizlet

Below you can study the Vocabulary on Quizlet.  You can also change HOW you study the vocabulary by clicking on the FLASHCARDS and change it to LEARN, WRITE, SPELL, TEST, and MATCH.  Consistent practice and use is the key to permanently imprint the language in your long term memory.

FLASHCARDS: Students can study the vocabulary like physical flashcards AND clic on the volume button to hear how the word is pronounced. 

LEARN: This mode allows students to expose themselves to the vocabulary in a variety of ways.  It chooses 7 terms at a time and students go through the flashcards to become familiar with them, then choose the correct term and  write it later as you get better at recognizing the terms. 

WRITE: This mode has students write the Spanish or English term.

SPELL: This mode has the student hear the word being spoken and the student writes it out.

TEST:  This mode allows students to test themselves on how well they know the vocabulary.  It has multiple choice, write, and true/false.  Students can also choose to just do the write, MC or T/F.  

MATCH:  This mode has students time themselves on how quickly they can match the English and Spanish translations.
